What’s the cheapest approach to lease the car for couple of days in Brooklyn?

It seems to be 4x as costly to lease a car here compared to a rest of a country. Any great agencies/ways to do this cheaper? I’ll be relocating to Prospect Heights as well as entrance in by JFK. Thanks!
