What is a taxation rate if we buy a used car in New York? what is a rate to import to Canada?

Hi, there have been essentially 2 questions. If we know possibly part, greatfully answer.

[1] we have review which for a taxation rate, it depends where in NY we register a car. BUT we devise to import it to Canada–it will not be purebred in a US. So what is a taxation rate if we only buy a car as well as expostulate it away?

Other than misc bound fees, we know there is a rate (based upon a car’s value) which we need to compensate for a car to be alien in to Canada. Is this only a GST of 7% or a little alternative value?

sorry we meant a GST or 6% (it’s no longer 7%). If we import a car to Ontario, do we only compensate a GST of 6% or GST as well as PST (6+8) of 14%?
