Would only regulating a Optima Car Audio battery underneath a metal cover may be put an finish to my lights dimming?

I have an ’03 Acura TL Type-S with a JL Audio 13W7, JL 1000/1, as good as a Jensen VM9312 regulating off of a standard/basic battery up front. If not a car audio specific battery shouldn’t usually a yellow tip or red tip do it?
