Can we operate drum guitar speakers in your car audio system?

I’ve been conference people regulating a speakers from contend Peavey, which have been 8-ohm 350w, 98db sensitivity, as a deputy for car audio subwoofers. The categorical reason for we do this it seems is a tall ohm as well as sensitivity, as well as it seems to be many cheaper. we hold an additional matter was which we need to get an instrument energy amp, instead of a car audio amplifier, so we can get a many energy to a 8-ohms. If someone can illuminate me upon how all this functions out, I’d conclude it greatly.

Thank you!

Use a 2-channel car amp bridged. That is 4 Ohms for a single woofer as well as 2 Ohms for two.

But those speakers substantially won’t receptive to advice really great but large power. They have been written really unbending since of a tall transients of low-pitched instruments.

You could get a 120v ac converter to run your home stereo complement upon twelve v dc in your car too, though what is a point. Most all car audio systems have been written for 4 ohm speakers for years now. To operate 8 or sixteen ohm speakers is feasible, though occasionally creates any unsentimental sense. It will need twice a audio energy from a 4 ohm complement to expostulate an 8 ohm orator to a same volume level. You can get 98db poly-prope coned 4 ohm speakers currently all over a place. We sell them (only 50 watt per channel, I’ll admit) for motorcycle operate which even have lifetime warranties.
